About
Offline Arcade started as a shared spreadsheet between three friends who kept losing games mid-commute because the tunnel killed the Wi-Fi. We got tired of downloading something labelled 'offline' only to hit a login wall. So we started keeping notes, and the notes turned into a website.,Everything here is played by a real person before it gets written up. We install the game, sit with it for a few evenings, and only then decide whether it earns a spot in the catalogue. If a game secretly needs a connection to do anything useful, we say so up front.,We pick titles across genres on purpose. Some days you want a slow puzzle before bed; other days you want a full RPG to sink into on a long flight. The catalogue reflects that mix rather than chasing one trend.,Nobody pays us to feature a game. The reviews are opinions, sometimes stubborn ones, and we'd rather be honest than polite.
Mareike Vogt — Mareike is the editor who keeps the catalogue in order and plays far too many simulators. She's been writing about mobile games for about eight years.
